Hello! My name is Mrs. Youssef and I am pleased that you are here visiting my page. If you are in grades 6, 7, or 8, I am your science teacher. Our room number at Harvard is 216 and my email address is [email protected].
I am looking forward to a new school year with some familiar as well as new faces at Harvard. This year I plan to save some trees by communicating via the internet. Remember that the Toledo Public Library has free access to the internet. Printing is also available at the library. Please commit to checking this website frequently for updates on assignments, projects, tests, and special announcements. I am excited that I can even share some of the awesome pictures and videos of your children in action:)
This is going to be an exciting year in Science! Your child will have numerous hands-on learning experiences that will give him/her a strong foundation in Science as well as develop enthusiasm for learning about our world. Your child will also be issued a traditional textbook that will contain the information needed to reinforce what we have learned in class. Your child is welcome to take his/her book home to share with you the content that we are covering. Homework will be assigned periodically from the textbook.
This school year, your child will have the opportunity to participate in an after school science STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) club. Please watch for more information about this exciting opportunity.
Please feel free to contact me at the school at 419-671-2700. Please know that I may not be able to take your call, but if you leave a detailed message I will get back to you ASAP. Email is still the best method to contact me as I check it regularly.
